Paris Aristotle AM is the Director of the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture Inc. (VFST) and Executive Member of the Forum of Australian Services for Survivors of Torture and Trauma (FASSTT).

Since 2001, Mr Aristotle has served on various Government bodies including the Immigration Detention Advisory Group (IDAG), Chair of the Council for Immigration Services and Status Resolution (CISSR) and currently serves as the Chair of the Ministers Council on Asylum Seekers and Detention (MCASD).

Mr Aristotle is also a member of the Refugee Resettlement Advisory Council (RRAC) and has over 25 years experience in the field of supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
